In case you have not heard, Coachella has released the official line up for 2019.
Childish Gambino, Tame Impala and Ariana Grande (the youngest ever female headliner) will headline the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which returns to the Empire Polo Club in Indio for twin weekends April 12-14 and April 19-21. Tickets for Coachella 2019 go on sale Friday, January 4th at 11 a.m. PST.
Other notable artists on the lineup include Solange, Weezer, The 1975, Janelle Monae, Lizzo, Virgil Abloh (Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton) and actor Idris Elba. Abloh and Elba, making their Coachella debuts, will perform DJ sets.
Coachella is also known for its taste-making prowess (artists such as Amy Winehouse, Childish Gambino, Arcade Fire and The Killers were booked long before they were household names) and this year’s lineup has some stars on the rise, including 17-year-old singer Billie Eilish.
