TODAY IN MUSIC: On June 19, 1989, Cher released her 19th studio album Heart of Stone. The album was her second album after signing with Geffen Records. Heart of Stone had multipe producers including Peter Asher, Michael Bolton, Desmond Child, and Diane Warren. The album reached number nine in the United States, making it Cher’s first solo album to reach the top 10.
